Dr. Monserrat Boza DDS

Monse was born and raised in Costa Rica and grew up in a large family of many medical doctors and dentists. She attended the University of Costa Rica where she studied biology, chemistry, and dental medicine. In 2001 she graduated from University of Costa Rica Dental School, receiving a Doctor of Dental Surgery. After spending one year in residence with the national dental hospital, she opened a full service dental clinic in Turrialba, Costa Rica. She enjoys all facets of dentistry from research, restoration and surgery. Dr. Boza is dedicated to continuing education and excellence in dentistry. When not busy in the office, she enjoys hiking, mountain biking and enjoying the outdoors in Costa Rica.

Dr. Edgar Barrantes DDS
Orthodontics
Edgar graduated as a general dentist and orthodontists from the University Véritas in 2000. As the son of a dentist, Edgar appreciates great orthodontic results for his patients. During the weekends, Edgar is a TV host for Tele Tica Channel 7 in San Jose, Costa Rica. He appears and hosts many specialty events and programs. In his free time, Edgar also enjoys riding horses, participating in parades, and singing.

Dr. Ileana Castro DDS

Pediatric Surgery
Ileana practiced general dentist for 25 years before focusing exclusively on pediatric dentistry and returning to university to complete her advance degree in pediatric dentistry in 2001. She is a faculty member of University International Americas teaching pediatric dentistry. She is also a board member in the Commission of Specialists, Costa Rica Board of Dental Surgeons. Her commitment to research, teaching and practice keeps her skills among the most advanced and proficient in Central America. During her free time, Ileana enjoys cooking wonderful Costa Rican meals and spending time with her family in San Jose and Turrialba. |

Dr. Melania Aguilar DDS
Periodontist
Melania graduated as a general dentist in 1998 from University of Costa Rica and after practicing for a time, pursued an advance specialist degree in Periodontics from the University of Javeriana in Bogota Colombia, 2003. When not offering her personalized treatments to clients, she enjoys going to movies and spending time outdoors with the company of her family and son.
